Buying computer parts online? It’s possible they were stolen! Austin computer network engineer Javier Guerra was recently arrested for stealing computer parts from his employers and selling them online between 2008-2012.

The 41-year old Austin citizen admitted and plead guilty to the fraudulent crime and has been given a federal prison sentence that will last 33 months.

Once Guerra has completed his term, he will be on supervised release for three years. He must also pay a restitution of $874,801 to Cisco Systems Inc. and H-E-B Grocery Co., his former employers.
