Throughout this summer, Austin’s own KGSR is hosting free concerts at Zilker Park on every other Wednesday. The concert series—known as Blues on the Green to an ever-growing number of Austinites—resumes Wednesday, July 24th, as The Gourds and Shakey Graves will each hit the stage in front of what is sure to be a large and eclectic crowd at Zilker.

If you intend to attend a Blues on the Green show, it is highly recommend that you get there a little early, as the series seems to be growing in popularity by the concert. Zilker has been literally filled with thousands of Austin’s finest on every other Wednesday so far this summer, so make sure you pack up the family, blanket, and cooler a little ahead of time and head out with plenty of time to spare. All Blues on the Green shows are completely pet friendly as well, so make sure to bring the dog, too!
